The first thing we should expect is to be asked some questions during our first massage visit. There is not a person on the planet that needs to take a massage that would not feel some apprehension before their massage. We don’t need to be concerned, this is common. The massage therapist will ask about our medical history as well as any injuries we may have. If we have any serious ongoing issues, we will be asked to bring a note from our doctor before we get started. Be prepared to answer questions concerning our reasons for taking a massage. There is no one typical reason for receiving a massage. Most will be for relaxation purposes and usually for stress relief.
