The IELTS exam pattern diverges in Reading and Writing sections for Academic and General Training tests:
Reading:
Academic: Scientific and technical texts requiring analytical skills.
General Training: Texts with a practical context, such as advertisements.
Writing:
Academic Task 1: Summarize visual data (charts, graphs).
General Task 1: Write a letter (formal, semi-formal, or informal).
Task 2: Argumentative essay (same for both). Listening and Speaking remain identical across formats, ensuring consistency.
