RuneScape is having a busy week already, and it's only Monday. Its main version is launching a brand new Valentine's Day-themed pursuit, while Old School RuneScape is still working through feedback to OSRS Gold its proposed gear balance changes. RuneScape's Heartstealer pursuit kicks off this week, having players join an NPC called Caelyn in a heist to steal a"massive heart-shaped ruby" to procure an anniversary gift for Annette. While definitely a Valentine's Day flavored quest, it will be available forever, so you should not handle the heist right away. It is going to be accessible to anybody, no prerequisites needed, but those that have at least a level 20 Thieving ability can claim a thieving XP Lamp following the quest. Old School RuneScape fans can continue to give feedback on the proposed Equipment Balance changes the developers have been suggesting since late January. The most recent blog post puts forth a few of he real changes based on participant feedback the team has in mind to execute. The OSRS team did caution that a number of the modifications will impact some players and assembles over others, and they are speaking internally to find out ways to allow these influenced builds to"continue in their current form, whilst trying to achieve the consequences [they're] aiming for." As such, the team recorded out some of the proposed changes to object requirments to"better match their stats," such as creating the Inqsuisitor's Mace now require 80 Attack versus the first 75, or increasing the base edition of the Nightmare Staff by a 65 Magic level to 72. The Old School RuneScape team also detailed a few of their plans to nerf a few things, saying they are simply"too powerful to remain as they are."
