What Factors Affect “How Much Water Should I Drink A Day”?

A person is recommended to drink at least 8 ounce glass of water everyday, which is also known as 8*8 rules. But ‘How much water should i drink a day’ also depends on various other factors which are as follows:


  1. If your diet includes spicy, sugary foods and caffeinated drinks, then you need to drink more water.

  2. If you are living in a hot & humid area, then you need more water to stay hydrated.

  3. If you are very active throughout the day & walk and stand a lot, then you need more water.
