Is ivermectin good for fatty liver?

Ivermectin Iverheal 6mg is not specifically used to treat fatty liver (also known as hepatic steatosis). Fatty liver is primarily managed through lifestyle changes, such as weight loss, a healthy diet, and controlling underlying conditions like diabetes or high cholesterol. While ivermectin has some anti-inflammatory and anti-fibrotic properties, its primary use is for treating parasitic infections, such as those caused by worms or mites.

In cases where fatty liver is caused by parasitic infections (such as schistosomiasis), ivermectin may be part of the treatment plan to eliminate the infection, which could indirectly reduce liver damage. However, ivermectin is not considered a direct treatment for fatty liver itself.
